Caseless For Dura-Lite® – Milk Packaging Case Study
The Challenge
Several customers approached Altium Packaging to produce a stackable caseless dairy square that would integrate with a tray system, as they found it to be well-suited to their stores’ needs. Our reputation for excellence among dairy packaging companies prompted them to call us.
The Solution
Altium Packaging’s Dura-Lite® dairy gallon was designed to have a greater top load strength despite having less gram weight than traditional milk packaging. Altium Packaging’s Studio PKG™ began work on a Dura-Lite® caseless option, hoping to further improve top load strength to achieve our customer’s desired performance and aesthetic requirements. Studio PKG™ also worked with tray makers to design the bottles to fit their tray systems.
The Results
Collaborating with our customers and tray makers resulted in a highly stackable caseless system that not only performed well but provided better shelf appeal and an easier customer interaction in stores.
